VONA Staff Gives Back to Louisiana Flood Victims

VONA helps Louisiana flood victims

This week the VONA staff helped fill up the donation trucks at the University of South Alabama campus in Mobile. The donations are headed to the victims of the devastating floods in south Louisiana. “Since we have employees and clients in the Louisiana area, the terrible flooding disaster really hit home for our VONA family,” said Ryan Shirley, CEO of VONA Case Management. “We know families are hurting and need these donations right away. The community also needs our prayers. We hope these donations help comfort some families.”

Our thoughts and prayers are also with the volunteers traveling to Louisiana this weekend to deliver the many donations from the residents of Baldwin and Mobile Counties. The trucks at USA are loaded to the max! Please continue to donate and give as you can!

If you would like to help, drop off donations to the University of South Alabama Department of Athletics. More information can be found at this link. The Junior League of Mobile is also collecting donations through Tuesday morning of gift cards, diapers and feminine hygiene products.
